Seymour Preston Jr. has more than 30 years of hands-on restructuring advisory experience across a broad array of industries. He has advised creditor groups, investors or debtors in dozens of restructurings and bankruptcies involving automotive supply and other heavy manufacturing, telecom services, financial services, food manufacturing, grocery and restaurant chains, airline, hospital care and management and real estate investors, among others. Public matters in which Seymour has been involved include Adelphia Communications, Intermedia Communications (MCI / WorldCom), Crystal Brands, Dep Corporation, Long John Silver's Restaurants, Sizzler Restaurants, InterBank Funding, Allis-Chalmers, Massey Ferguson, Tower Air, Bucyrus-Erie, Rockefeller Center and Drexel Burnham, among many others.

Seymour has testified as an expert at trial, in arbitration or by deposition in numerous litigations. He has provided expert analysis and testimony in valuation, solvency and other financial litigation in such matters as W.R. Grace/Sealed Air, Armstrong World Industries, Asia Global Crossing, Imperial Home Décor Group, Color Tile, Warnaco v. The Lovable Company, and others. Seymour has served as a fiduciary in numerous cases, including Pegasus Gold, Cityscape, MCorp., and Burlington Motor Holdings.

Before joining Goldin Associates, Seymour was a Senior Managing Director and Head of Restructuring at Furman Selz Incorporated and Managing Director and Head of the Investment Recovery Group at Equitable Capital Management Corp. and The Equitable Life Assurance Society with responsibility for a $1.6 billion portfolio. As a senior officer of The Equitable, he also participated in building and monitoring a $2 billion portfolio of LBO mezzanine financings, reviewing dozens of acquisition-financing and exit-sale opportunities in many industries.

Seymour is a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder and a graduate of Princeton University and New York University School of Law.
