Erik M. Graber is a corporate finance professional with diverse restructuring experience. He has advised clients in many industries, including financial institutions, real estate, hospitality, long term care, consumer products and retailing. Erik is experienced at valuing investments and businesses, developing strategic alternatives for businesses and financial assets and overseeing the restructuring, refinancing or disposition of client companies and assets.

Erik has acted as CRO or senior restructuring advisor in numerous significant bankruptcies or restructurings. His responsibilities in such matters have included review and development of business plans, turnaround plans and financial models, development of cash and operating projections, management of liquidity and operating expenses, management and oversight of §363 asset dispositions, assisting in the development of bankruptcy plans, etc.

Most recently, he has been CRO for Young Broadcasting, one of the largest independent U.S. television broadcast groups. Earlier, he was CRO for a senior housing company operating in bankruptcy and oversaw its successful §363 sale process. He was Vice President for Finance at Refco, a financial services company that was the largest U.S. bankruptcy in 2005 and where his responsibilities included unwinding its repo and other financing positions and overseeing a multi-billion dollar portfolio of foreign and domestic equities, emerging markets securities, high yield and distressed debt. Other major assignments have included overseeing the management and disposition of a portfolio of private equity investments, including interests in operating businesses, hotels, undeveloped real estate and mortgage securitizations.

Erik has extensive experience structuring and executing public and private placements of equity and debt securities, as well as dispositions and buyouts of middle market companies. Prior to joining Goldin Associates, Erik was a Vice President at Mercury Partners, a merchant banking group focusing on real estate and healthcare companies, and at Pharus Advisors, a mergers and acquisitions boutique serving technology companies. Previously, he held positions as an investment banker at UBS Warburg and PaineWebber Incorporated in their Real Estate Investment Banking Groups. Erik earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a BA and BS from the University of Pennsylvania.
