Navigating and pursuing strategic alternatives
- Support parties in negotiations respecting the terms of financial restructurings and advise creditors, shareholders and other parties in interest on improving recoveries
- Assist in asset acquisition or disposition, including conducting due diligence, marketing and closing
- Identify and assess strategic alternatives
- Help parties structure complex agreements relating to sale and leasing of diverse assets, including hospitality properties
- Provide fairness or solvency opinions in connection with proposed transactions and restructurings
- Evaluate and value businesses, subsidiaries and other assets, including difficult-to-value assets, such as structured products and mortgage-related instruments, and monitor financial performance
- Assist in developing resolution plans and credit exposure reports for Dodd-Frank compliance or other purposes
